ART

Today was excellent, to say the least.
It was interesting to note in my horoscope it said that the problems I have been having with making long term goals will clear up today. And as usual it was right. I am in a drawing class at my college and I have really been stressing about not really knowing which major fits me best. This morning I received some great encouragement from my professor Marcus. He had inquired if I was an art major and guided me to give it some thought. I think before, last spring when I was still trying to decide, I was afraid I wasn't a good enough artist to be an art major. I also thought I wouldn't want the limitations that come with all the degree requirements and putting together a portfolio. Now I have a bit more experience in other areas around campus. Marcus was emphasizing that artist must be well versed in other realms of thought and literature because an artist must have something to portray in a piece. Without other knowledge our art would be without meaning and basically worthless. I am excited to study new things and I will continue to practice. I have knowledge of what lies for me in the future and am now embracing it. Applying it to my everyday life.
