Wrapped up in Mind's games
I began to Fear that most true to me.
Our physical proximity had suddenly disappeared,
I thought it stolen;
A piece so fragile taken and irretrievable

Life once filled with motivation and resiliance,
Now replaced with desperation and personal torment.
Curious to know what had made my true self go.
Search was frantic, and fearful
To no avail
My grip had loosened, and tarrying I let go completely.

Struggle to regain has been a slow process.
Only now do I see God and eternal love.
Truth, has never left my side.
I had only been blinded, put away.
Neglecting the deep, I floated to the surface,
Retracting all spirituality.

Still cautious and aware,
Slowly the light seeps in.
Moments it pours with power,
I must train my spirit again
To perceive love without condition.

Feeling that I had lost the one
Who instills and influences my being
To become that which I truly am.
So I must find it within
Because it was never missing.

The time is now to crawl up,
And reach out.
I must shake away the mud and ugliness.
Polish that which lies within.
He brings my passion for life and learning

I will help myself now because I know how.
We will move to a higher summit
Revel at the top.
Success is my true destiny
Without jeopardy.
